"You were all saying my name. Was I not allowed to see what was going on?"
As he spoke, Shi Hao tossed something to Meng Chuan.
Meng Chuan caught it and saw that it was a seed.
It was round and fairly plump, though it looked somewhat withered and yellow.
One look at the seed in his hand, and Meng Chuan realized what it was.
"A seed left behind by the Pollen Path Ancestral Root?" he asked.
Shi Hao nodded. "Yes. That seed."
Long ago, when the Pollen Path Ancestral Root was destroyed, it had left behind a Rootlet and a seed.
Luo had the Rootlet, but he had already given it to Meng Chuan.
The seed's whereabouts had been unknown. It had been lost for many Eras.
Who would have thought Shi Hao would find it?
Though the Pollen Path Ancestral Root had been destroyed, as long as this seed remained, it could take root and sprout again, growing into the Ancestral Root.
