Chu Feng had planned to settle down and cultivate in seclusion, but after thinking it over, he called Yaoyao.
Unfortunately, the call did not connect.
Yaoyao was deep in Earth’s Core, so naturally she could not receive Chu Feng's call.
"I can never reach her. What's the point of having a Communicator? Is it just for decoration?" Chu Feng muttered.
Without a Communicator, he could not reach her. With one, he still could not reach her. Why had he bought the thing?
He called Meng Chuan instead. At Wuyi Mountain, Meng Chuan looked at his Communicator and wanted to switch it off. He had no desire to deal with Chu Feng.
But Chu Feng was persistent. He kept calling.
"What is it?" Meng Chuan asked, finally answering.
"Why did you take so long?" Chu Feng complained. "And I can't get through to Sister Yaoyao at all. What are you two doing?"
"There's no signal where she is," Meng Chuan replied. "I'm busy."
"What kind of age are we living in? How can there still be no signal?" Chu Feng grumbled.
"Yaoyao went underground. That's why there's no signal."
"What? She went underground?" Chu Feng froze, then hesitantly asked, "You mean she's been buried?"
"???" Meng Chuan was baffled. Did Chu Feng even hear what had just come out of his mouth?
Meng Chuan recorded that exchange and sent it to Yaoyao.
"She hasn't been buried. She went underground to take care of something," Meng Chuan explained.
"Underground?" Chu Feng's imagination ran wild. "You mean the Netherworld Underworld?"
Meng Chuan fell silent, at a loss for words. Could Chu Feng stop bringing up such underworld things?
Oh, right. This was the Lesser Netherworld to begin with. There were no things from the Yang World here.
"So what do you actually want?"
