For now, the future looked far too bleak. Even if they killed every Weird Immortal Emperor, the Weird Ancestors would remain. And even if they killed every Weird Ancestor, that mysterious Plateau would still be there.
Only overwhelming power could put an end to it all.
But how hard would that be?
To count as overwhelming, that power would have to at least rival the mysterious Plateau, if not surpass it entirely.
"Immortal Emperors, Ancestors..." Shi Hao pondered for a moment, then asked, "Can the Ancestors revive endlessly, like the Weird Immortal Emperors?"
He had never met an Ancestor. He only knew what Meng Chuan had told him about the Weird Ancestors.

At a terrible cost, you could completely erase them, leaving even the Plateau unable to revive them.
The Plateau's own power of Resurrection had a limit. It was simply a limit ordinary living beings could scarcely reach.
Nothing in the world was absolutely undying. If you were strong enough, you could break even a state that appeared to be absolute immortality.
But the price you paid for doing so would be immense.
The Origin lost while contending with the Plateau's power of Resurrection could never be restored.
In other words, if you gave everything to kill one
