Of course, he might have been only Half-Transcendent, but he was genuinely powerful.
During the Demon Buddha Calamity, Demon Buddha's cultivation had already drawn extremely close to that of the Three Pure Ones. Ordinary Other Shore Beings could only resist him. Yet the Half-Transcendent Buddha suppressed someone so powerful in a single move.
Before Dao Venerable transcended, however, Other Shore Beings such as the Primordial Heavenly Venerable had also been searching for a Method of Transcendence and exploring the Path Ahead.
Every Dao Fruit Embryo was exploring it. The Primordial Heavenly Venerable, for instance, had entered the Buddhist Sect, attained the Other Shore through the Buddhist Dao in his Sage Buddha incarnation, then voluntarily entered extinction.
These were all explorations of the Path of Transcendence by Other Shore Beings.
Dao Venerable, too, had begun Reducing to Emptiness under the gaze of the other Other Shore Beings.
Very few of them had tried to stop him.
