A battle between twelve Supreme Ones—not one where they held each other in check, but one where they fought with everything they had—would cause far too much destruction.
At an ordinary point in time, things might have been better. Heaven and Earth would have been stable and thriving, with an immense capacity to endure.
But things were different now. The Final Tribulation was the greatest destruction the Lifetime World had ever faced. Nothing was as it had been.
The same held true even in the Shrouding the Heavens World. If End-of-the-Road Level beings fought outside the Calamity Land, the consequences would be catastrophic.
The heavens and Great Thousand worlds alike would perish in the aftershocks of their battle.
The Calamity Land could withstand it because the mysterious Plateau suppressed it, and because remnants of an even higher existence lay within the Plateau.
At this particular moment, the Lifetime World simply could not survive such turmoil.
Whether those on the Other Shore could survive the Final Tribulation's end remained unknown.
