Over these ten thousand years, mighty figures had risen without end among the myriad races. Great Sages were everywhere, and Quasi-Emperors were no better than— ahem. Quasi-Emperors could still throw their weight around.
Once, a Great Sage could hold sway over a region, and a Quasi-Emperor could dominate the Starry Sky. Now that had changed. Only those in the Late Quasi-Emperor stage or at its peak could dominate the Starry Sky. The true Supremes were those who had achieved Alternative Dao Attainment.
Of course, only a handful had reached that level.
In the end, they had to rely on themselves. They had no Dao Realm Permissions and could not enjoy its greatest benefits.
This was an age of prosperity without precedent. No era, past or present, could compare.
Neither the coexistence of Emperors in the Mythological Era nor the Golden Age yet to come could measure up to the present Dao Calendar.
