So it did not steer around it or draw itself in. As it did in other regions of chaos, it simply spread across it.

And because this place was unique, the Great Dao Matrix directly projected the Dao at every level into it.

The worlds outside, meanwhile, had been created by the children of the Great Dao Matrix.

The Great Dao Matrix had borne offspring throughout the regions of chaos. Those offspring were the "World Daos."

The World Daos used the power of chaos to create worlds. It was as though the children had grown up and established homes apart from their mother.

Each world was a home belonging to one of the Great Dao Matrix's children. Its children made the rules there, and it naturally did not interfere.

Some children looked much like it and were obedient. Others looked nothing like it. Some were strong, and some were frail.

After all, no child could be identical to its mother inside and out.

If the Chaos Sea was a dynasty, then the Great Dao Matrix was its ruler, and the World Daos were its princes and princesses—princes and princesses granted territories of their own.

Within those territories, laws and customs differed
