At the very least, it was far more dangerous than the Dao Fruit path or the path to Above Sacrificial Dao.
The Dao Fruit path was actually quite safe. One could even say the path itself held no danger; failure would not mean death.
Reducing to Emptiness posed no danger in itself, nor was there danger after reaching Perfection in it and entering a state of absolute nonexistence.
The Demon Emperor had already reached Perfection in Reducing to Emptiness. Even if the Demon Emperor voluntarily returned and gave up the results, there would be no injury or loss of cultivation.
As long as one was not on such terrible terms with the product of Reducing to Emptiness that they were mortal enemies, there would be no problem.
