The New Year is almost here. It's been more than two years since I started writing at the end of 2020.
More than two years is no short time. Some people have left, others have arrived, and some have stayed by my side throughout, never leaving or giving up on me, just like family.
To every reader who has supported this book, I'm deeply grateful. Please accept my thanks.
Once this year ends, this book will have accompanied you through three Spring Festivals.
I'm tearing up.
Since this book went on sale, I've kept up a baseline of 6,600 words a day, with occasional extra updates. I've never taken a day off or missed an update.
I suppose that counts as... perseverance.
With the chapter I just posted, this book has entered its final stretch. Being able to celebrate the New Year with you all as it nears completion is a wonderful thing, too.
