The origin and history of that Chaos abyss surprised Meng Chuan.
The famed source of the Demonic Dao held such a secret, yet word of it had never spread beyond its bounds.
It seemed the name Demon Abyss had merely been attached to it because of the Demon of the Dao's Opposition. Pangu Abyss would have suited it better.
But why had the Demon of the Dao's Opposition, a mighty Limitless One, claimed a place like that for his Daoist Grounds?
Was that not a little beneath him?
Before Pangu opened Primordial Chaos, the Demon of the Dao's Opposition must have had Daoist Grounds elsewhere.
The Demon Abyss had not even existed then.
Yet after it appeared, he had abandoned the Daoist Grounds he had cultivated for who knew how long and moved there.
It was baffling.
If the Demon Abyss concealed some secret tied to what Pangu had gained from opening Primordial Chaos, the other Limitless Ones would hardly have stood by while he claimed it.
Since they had done nothing, did that mean there was nothing unusual about the place?
Or had the Demon of the Dao's Opposition alone spotted something amiss?
While Meng Chuan pondered this, Primordial Beginning continued:
"After claiming the Demon Abyss, he reorganized the Demonic Dao. He made himself its source, took the title Dao Ancestor, established the Purple Cloud Palace as his Daoist Grounds, appointed the Six Demons beneath him, and had demons everywhere revere him from afar."
"For a time, he truly carried the air of a Dao Ancestor."
At this, a half-smile appeared on Primordial Beginning's face.
The Demon of the Dao's Opposition could not possibly hide these little moves from the other Limitless Ones. Such matters could never be kept entirely secret.
He himself had never expected to conceal them
