During this Great Dao Tribulation, every calamity and every punishment sprang from the Great Daos.
Depending on the tribulation-taker's cultivation, Great Dao, or Cultivation Technique system, different calamities arose.
For Near-Limitless Beings and Chaos Ones like Meng Chuan, this meant directly facing a portion of the Great Dao Matrix.

Thunder brought a Thunder Tribulation, swords brought a sword tribulation. Even the Dao of Life and the Dao of Fortune became tribulations and fell upon them.
This was a Dao tribulation—not the tribulation of a single Dao, but of boundless Daos.
As the many Dao tribulations began to take shape, the Chaos Ones transformed into True Forms of the Great Dao.
One was the Dao form of the Ancestral Dragon, its body stretching for untold miles, its head visible but its tail nowhere to be seen. Boundless Chaos Qi shrouded its slender body as it rose and sank through Chaos, imbued with Supreme Majesty.
Another was the true form of the Ancestral Phoenix. With a spread of its wings, it covered the firmament, blotted out the Great Dao, and overturned Heaven and Earth, appearing and disappearing amid the Chaos Qi.
A Pure Land also stretched across the sky. Buddhist chants rang without end, and golden light filled Space-Time. Within the Pure Land, no Living Being suffered illness, disaster, pain, or death. There were no hateful encounters and no wretched Hell.
There was also the form of a tortoise and snake hidden amid towering waves. It moved Daos and manipulated their principles, surging onward, unstoppable.
