When I posted the chapter just before this one, the book reached two million characters. As you all know, I'm a new author writing my first book, so reaching that milestone gave me a real sense of accomplishment.
I posted the first chapter on November 21, 2020. Today was August 22, 2021, which meant I'd been writing for 275 days.

To every lovely reader who supported me through those 275 days, thank you. You're the reason this new author kept going.
Some of you have been with me since the book was new, while others joined later and stayed until now.
I've seen your names in the comments and the votes, many times over. Honestly, it moved me.
Lovely people from all corners of the country kept me company through 275 days and nights.
And of course, I kept you company for just as long, haha.
Calling it a bond of life and death would be going too far, but we did share a little of our lives.
You may have noticed that I rarely post standalone author's notes. I've never made a special post for double Monthly Tickets or crowdfunded tips. But today, I
