At exactly nine in the morning, the doors to the Daily Planet newsroom swung open.
Yongye strolled in wearing his trademark black short-sleeved shirt, his hands in his pockets.
The newsroom buzzed with activity. Keyboards clattered, phones rang, and reporters shouted to one another, all the noise blending into a boiling stew. Perry White stood outside his office with a steaming cup of coffee, frowning at the unfamiliar young man who had just walked in.

Yongye ignored him. He walked straight to the open space in the center of the newsroom and cleared his throat.
"Everyone, put down what you're doing and look this way."
He did not speak loudly, yet his voice somehow cut through the din and reached every ear with perfect clarity. The newsroom grew noticeably quieter in an instant.
Dozens of eyes turned toward him. Some people looked confused, some frowned, and others had already taken out their phones to call security.
Perry set down his coffee and took two steps toward Yongye, his voice openly angry.
"Hey, kid, this is a newsroom. We don't entertain—"
Yongye raised a hand, unfolded the share transfer agreement, and waved it at him.
"Perry White, editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet, right?"
"Hello. I'm your new boss. Starting today, I call the shots around here!"
Perry froze for a full three seconds. Then he instinctively took the document and skimmed the signatures and official seals, disbelief written all over his face.
The other reporters noticed what was happening. The keyboards fell silent, the phones stopped ringing, and dozens of eyes fixed on the thin document.
