A dark-gold cape whipped in the wind as Zod hammered Superman with savage punches. Every blow carried the full crushing force of a Kryptonian, and with his two subordinates joining the assault, he drove Superman steadily back.

The four fought from the top of one skyscraper to the middle floors of another. Sheets of glass shattered under the shock waves and rained down like metal from the sky.

Yongye dropped straight out of the sky, his Golden Cloth trailing a dazzling streak of light in the sun. He landed with a bang in the open space between Zod and Superman.

The concrete beneath his feet cracked in every direction, like a spiderweb stretched until it burst.

Zod stopped his attack and turned. Fury churned in his golden eyes.

Yongye straightened amid the shattered concrete, brushed nonexistent dust from his leg, and gave Zod a leisurely look. His voice was so thick with infuriating mockery it might as well have been drenched in chili oil.

"I say, General Zod."

"Those two men of yours insisted on tangling with me and what's-his-name over there... They couldn't take a hit at all."

"Barely touched them. One went flying clear out of sight, and I beat the other into mush."

"You're a general. The soldiers you brought along can't be this flimsy!"

He deliberately spread the fingers of his right hand, then closed them as though crushing an egg, adding a "crack" sound with his mouth.

"I hadn't even put any strength into it, and they went down."

"They didn't make me look strong at all!"

Zod's face tightened. His dark-gold cape stirred without wind, and the golden light in his eyes flared.
