Taking a Day Off

My lower back had been killing me these past few days... It hurt sitting, lying down, standing... and I kept running to the bathroom... When it rained, it poured—I still had to go for a physical fitness test tomorrow...

I really couldn't take it anymore.

I'd already started questioning my life.

Life sometimes really did feel hard. (Sigh) T_T

Seriously.

And I was sorry that a scrub writer like me could only manage four thousand words a day TAT. I envied those legends who could write ten thousand a day too, but I really couldn't squeeze out any more words.

Because I was so exhausted after writing every day that I could barely breathe, I hadn't said much in the author's notes for a long time either...

Also, some other news.

The latest news:

GW had released female Custodian Guards.

The source was the tenth-edition Custodian Guard codex.

The previous Custodian Guard lore seemed to be that they were all male, because GW used "sons" when describing them, and Custodian Guards were generally paired with Silent Sisters.

T_T I didn't know what to say. I just hoped that before I finished this book, some foundational lore wouldn't get retconned again...

The last Pariah Nexus update was already absurd enough—Vashtorr being able to power Necron Technology...

...The more they patched it, the more absurd it felt... This setting simply wasn't one that could have a happy ending... But this book would definitely have one.
