First, why do we call the Underking a god? Because he was a god, so we called him a god.

Second, since the Underking took office, production in my region had increased by a fucking 3.54 times. Assembly line design and improvements were all first- and second-tier sector work. You could say the Academy's materials weren't as efficient as the knowledge you had privately hoarded—but they gave us fringe Explorators a convenient way to access resources.

Third, you old-guard bastards should stop throwing doctrine at me. What old bastard on any Forge World didn't do a little "archaeology" of his own? Now Mars and the major Forge Worlds were leading innovation in process development—I didn't want to miss this opportunity, so we had to believe in the Underking, pray to him fervently, and wipe out those bullshit opposition parties.

That was why the Underking was a god.
