At least it wasn't The Deceiver.
Trazyn thought so as he casually tapped the tesseract labyrinth beside him—the Star God Pokéball, as it was commonly known. He had specifically brought an extra one or two.
The labyrinth before the Necron flowed with bizarre distortions of time and space. This was the Void Dragon's power—The Emperor had used a trick to make the Dragon's own power imprison the Dragon. Unbelievable.
And now, those droplets flickering with eerie light trembled faintly and ominously. Of course Trazyn knew what had disturbed it. Perhaps it was not Death, who had just entered the labyrinth with a grave expression, but the Underking, who had stumbled into it.
Hmm... the Void Dragon did not seem very welcoming toward the Underking.
Trazyn raised a hand before his eyes and peered into the distance, trying to make out something tangible within the illusory, unreal labyrinth.
"Mort—Mortarion—!!!"
Hades shouted. His voice carried far into the distance, but no one answered him. Everything felt like a dream, though thankfully, Hades was at least wearing clothes now.
Uh, he looked like the Emperor back when he had ridden a mule to fight a dragon.
Hades scratched his head, then looked suspiciously at the sword in his hand. It seemed to be some sort of standard issue, but it did not feel quite right in his grip. So, with a thought, the battered sword in his hand turned into a battered scythe.
Fine. It would do.
Hades thought as he began walking forward.
Night fell quickly.
Hades felt a little dejected. He still had not found anything, as though something had trapped him—or perhaps the Dragon simply did not want to see him. Following old memories, he lit a fire and began waiting listlessly for dawn.
Flames danced in his
