Neos calmly watched the reflection of his own face on the curved surface of a cultivation chamber. Amid bubbles rising in all sizes inside, the organism generated by the Blood of the Original Stack was slowly growing.
"They've run into a little trouble."
The Emperor suddenly spoke calmly. It was as though he had pierced through space and seen The Phalanx currently docked above Terra.
This brought Neos back to that scene. From atop the Golden Throne, he had tried to visit and, while he was at it, retrieve his son, Rogal Dorn.
He had successfully entered his son's dream, only to be drowned in a sea of Greenskins.
