Calas Typhon felt as though the entire world had turned upside down.
Heavy footsteps echoed through the corridors of The Indomitable. Such hurried, weighty steps, as though deliberately stomping on the deck, could only belong to one person within the Death Guard, who prided themselves on silence.

This world ought to be destroyed. Karras no longer cared. The galaxy had become ever more absurd, and as an individual human, he had clearly contributed enough. He had drunk soup before Nurgle and cursed gods before Slaanesh; he had fought long enough and lived long enough to grow sick of it. His life was bleak, without
