Background / History

Life as Xue Qinghe

Qian Renxue spent her childhood alone in the Worship Hall before undertaking a twenty-year infiltration of Heaven Dou under Xue Qinghe’s identity. The real prince died twenty years before her exposure. Her disguise concealed her name, sex, and Martial Soul, while prolonged performance made her increasingly accustomed to suppressing her own emotions 131 159.

As Crown Prince, she studied under Ning Fengzhi for more than ten years. She later stated that, during seven years governing in the emperor’s stead, Heaven Dou fought no needless border wars and she personally checked relief accounts after three floods. Her identity was false, but she maintained that her application of Ning Fengzhi’s lessons was sincere 131 169.

Intelligence Work in Heaven Dou

Qian Renxue warned Bai Jin that Evil Soul Masters were investigating Blue Silver Grass and a particular bloodline, and supplied information from the outskirts of Slaughter City concerning a bounty on Tang San. She feared that Shrek’s students were being drawn into dangers beyond their strength 8.

Through the Crown Prince’s Mansion, she subsequently supported investigations into the Ghost Face Society, trafficking, and blood-market activity. She relied on Bai Jin’s field judgment while preserving the public image of a benevolent prince, since openly deploying imperial forces could expose their investigation 13 31 46 77.

Failed Palace Coup

With Emperor Xue Ye’s poisoning worsening, Qian Renxue prepared to close the palace gates, seize the Imperial Jade Seal and an imperial decree, accuse Xue Beng and Prince Xue Xing of rebellion, and force the emperor to abdicate. Her preparations also included escape routes for uninvolved servants and physicians 129.

Ning Fengzhi and the poison specialists intervened to save Xue Ye. Tang San damaged her disguise Soul Bone, forcing her to reveal herself. After unsuccessfully recruiting Tang San, she defeated him in a duel, but Bai Jin stopped her potentially fatal finishing strike 130 131 132.

The coup collapsed. Wounded and depleted, she made a final attempt to reach Xue Ye’s bedchamber before Bai Jin restrained her and persuaded her to leave. Tang San condemned Bai Jin’s decision to spare her, citing Xue Ye’s poisoning and the real Xue Qinghe’s death. Before departing, she warned Bai Jin that Spirit Hall was preparing to hunt Xiao Wu 136.

Appearance

Qian Renxue has golden hair and manifests six golden wings through her Martial Soul. After absorbing her Eighth Soul Ring, her regenerated wings gained silver edging 130 154 159.

  • Golden gown: Worn in her role as Spirit Hall’s Young Mistress 159.
  • Forehead mark: Her first Angel inheritance trial forms a small golden feather between her brows; later trials renew or alter the mark 150 178.
  • Silverwing markings: Silver patterns appear in her left leg after Soul Bone absorption 150.
  • Partial Divine Outfit: By her latest documented trial, a faint golden leg-armor outline coexists with the original silver markings 222.
  • Former disguise: A disguise Soul Bone allowed her to maintain Xue Qinghe’s appearance until Tang San broke its covering 131.

Personality

Qian Renxue initially presents a controlled, courteous exterior over a sharp and guarded disposition. She was taught not to trust lightly, yet recognizes Bai Jin’s moral boundaries and privately envies his freedom to choose his own path. His teasing repeatedly disrupts the composure she maintains as Xue Qinghe 8 13.

Her commitment to Spirit Hall can become ruthless. During the palace coup, she refuses to retreat despite the danger and escalates her duel with Tang San because she considers him a threat to her plan. Nevertheless, she also makes provisions for uninvolved palace staff and has genuine attachments to the people and everyday life of Heaven Dou 129 132 136.

After the coup, she becomes more willing to acknowledge wrongdoing without surrendering her judgment. She accepts responsibility for the failed infiltration, confronts Ning Fengzhi without demanding forgiveness, and enforces ceasefires against Spirit Hall’s own personnel 148 170 172.

Her trial of the heart makes this change explicit: she rejects both unquestioning obedience to Bibi Dong and escape from duty with an illusion of Bai Jin. Rather than sever her attachments, she accepts that feelings can bias her choices and that responsibility includes recognizing mistakes and repairing harm 177.

Later training also shows a shift from endurance at any cost toward measured experimentation. She records injuries, adjusts power routes, and stops attempts before damaging the Soul Bone she is determined to preserve 209 213 217.

Abilities & Skills

Six-Winged Angel

Her Martial Soul supplies flight, golden Soul Power, holy flames, and wing-based defenses 131 132.

  • Her wings withstand Tang San’s Eight Spider Lances during their duel 132.
  • Golden feathers can form layered barriers against incoming attacks 166 178.
  • Holy flames sever Blue Silver Emperor vines and burn hostile power 132.
  • Wings of light can regenerate after being sacrificed or damaged 153 154.

Angel Domain

A golden domain that suppresses opponents and purifies their Soul Power 132.

  • Slows projectiles, including Tang San’s Bone-Piercing Nails 132.
  • Drains hostile Soul Power during circulation and suppresses Blue Silver Emperor vitality 132.
  • Exposes hidden spatial paths and distinguishes the Silverwing Beast from its false images 143 144.
  • With holy flames, identifies the beast’s transfer points and the movement of its essence between nine bodies 144 146.

Angel Assault and Angel’s Roar

Her First Soul Skill, Angel Assault, drives a rapid sword attack enhanced by angelic power 132.

  • Uses speed and holy flame to break through layered plant restraints 132.
  • Angel’s Roar counters Tang San’s Purple Demon Eye attack, injuring him and knocking him backward 132.

Angel True Body

Her Seventh Soul Skill manifests the full power of the Six-Winged Angel 136 152.

  • Amplifies her sword attacks, golden flames, and aerial combat 136 152.
  • Can spread sacred flames through folded space when combined with Bai Jin’s anchors 146.
  • Does not make her immune to spatial restraints, redirected flames, or injuries 145 178.

Angel’s Holy Judgment and Holy Radiance Unification

Her hundred-thousand-year Eighth Soul Ring grants a powerful judgment attack and a second phase that concentrates angelic radiance 154.

  • Angel’s Holy Judgment: Produces a descending golden pillar that passes through the mountain and destroys an enemy’s coffin Martial Soul Avatar 154.
  • Holy Radiance Unification: Draws her wings into concentrated radiance along the sword, purifying power forcibly raised through blood needles 154.
  • Holy Radiance Unification can also form close-fitting golden armor that evaporates fire and poison on contact 157.

Ninth Soul Ring Abilities

Her hundred-thousand-year Ninth Soul Ring provides complementary offensive and defensive effects tied to her Angel Domain 195.

  • Offensive sword ability: Pierces three Soul Power defenses and leaves persistent golden flame along the cut; no name is supplied 195.
  • Sacred Guard: Holy light flows toward the point of impact and spreads concentrated force across her body and wings 195 201.
  • With Bai Jin separating the energies, she can disperse external Rakshasa backlash without letting her holy light touch Bibi Dong’s Soul Power. Direct contact between the two powers risks worsening the surge 199 201 216.

Silverwing Sky Step

Also rendered Silverwing Skystep, this left leg Soul Bone skill allows her to cross space almost instantly 150 154.

  • Used for repositioning, avoiding attacks, and rapidly closing with enemies 154 166.
  • Lets her approach the outer edge of Bai Jin’s layered Limitless during sparring, though she only damages his robe 215.
  • Injury and interference from the Divine Outfit imprint limit repeated use; during one test, her leg cannot withstand a third step 209 215.

Rift-Splitting Feather Blades

Her second Silverwing Soul Bone skill releases cutting spatial blades 150.

  • A kick launches five translucent blades that cut gashes into the chamber’s protective formation 150.
  • Can clear falling stone rather than attack an opponent 215.
  • Remains usable after partial Divine Outfit imprinting, though earlier attempts slightly alter its behavior 213 222.

Angel Holy Light

Her holy light also supports others rather than serving only as a weapon 170 178.

  • Stops bleeding among casualties from both Spirit Hall and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect 170.
  • Heals cuts on Bai Jin’s wrists and hands 178 217.
  • Protects Bai Jin’s heart during his dangerous Ninth Soul Ring absorption without interfering with the ring itself 146.

Administration, Investigation, and Command

Her years as Xue Qinghe give her detailed knowledge of officials, transport routes, accounting procedures, and government records 136 205.

  • Coordinates allied-sect administration and resolves conflicting accounts between Heaven Dou staff and Spirit Hall officials 194.
  • Uses old receipts, cargo records, and witness testimony to expose Luo Jun’s embezzlement and staged border conflict 205 206.
  • Separates surrendering personnel by knowledge and conduct rather than treating everyone as equally guilty 184 188.
  • Commands rescue operations while limiting attacks that could harm nearby prisoners 151 166.

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Angel Holy Sword — Her principal manifested combat weapon. The physical inheritance sword remains in the Angel Temple during Qian Daoliu’s test of Bai Jin 132 194 196.
  • Disguise Soul Bone — Maintained Xue Qinghe’s appearance until Tang San broke the covering during the palace confrontation 131.
  • 260,000-year Silverwing left leg Soul Bone — Obtained from the Rift-Splitting Silverwing Beast and given to her by Bai Jin in recognition of her protection. Grants Silverwing Sky Step and Rift-Splitting Feather Blades 146 147 150.
  • Golden Fragment — Used to imprint the Angel Divine Outfit. Its power conflicts with her existing left leg Soul Bone 208 213.
  • Ning Fengzhi’s jade pendant — Received while she posed as Xue Qinghe; returned when she acknowledged her deception after the sect’s ceasefire agreement 172.
  • Papal Hall side-door pass — Given by Bibi Dong as their relationship becomes more open, allowing Qian Renxue direct access to the hall 212 216.

Divine Outfit Integration

Qian Renxue refuses to remove her Silverwing Soul Bone and instead works to make its spatial power coexist with the Angel imprint 208.

Milestone Chapter Result
First imprint attempt 208 Angel and Silverwing powers collide. The attempt injures her and breaks one of Bai Jin’s anchors.
Mapping the damaged route 209 Uses a wooden sword, paper, and cracked tiles to study interference around the knee and find a less painful route near the ankle.
First brief coexistence 213 Guides the golden imprint beside the silver pathway. Leaves a faint golden line, with her leg and feather-blade skill preserved.
Three-breath extension 217 Brings the imprint to the ankle and briefly beneath the foot. Stops before Soul Bone damage; a short ankle marking remains.
Partial leg armor stabilized 222 Uses Silverwing Skystep to exchange footholds between the two powers, then directs Bai Jin to withdraw his anchors. A faint armor outline stabilizes while both Soul Bone skills remain intact.
  • The partial armor can bear weight only briefly and requires further training 222.
  • The other five Divine Outfit positions remain dark, although one briefly flashes as she leaves the temple 222.

Relationships

  • Bai Jin — Trusted ally, combat partner, and romantic partner. She once risked herself to save him, a debt he cites when explaining why he spared her after the coup. Their mutual protection develops into open affection, and she explicitly tells Bibi Dong that they are together 137 144 168 189.
  • Bibi Dong — Mother and Pope. Qian Renxue wants her approval but refuses to surrender her own judgment for it. Their strained bond gradually becomes more collaborative through administrative work, medicine, and carefully bounded support during Rakshasa episodes 151 177 212 216.
  • Qian Daoliu — Grandfather and overseer of her Angel trials. He warns her honestly about their risks, protects the temple, and increasingly respects her right to direct her own attempts 159 195 208 217.
  • Ning Fengzhi — Teacher during her years as Xue Qinghe. She genuinely values his lessons despite deceiving him about her identity. Returning his pendant acknowledges the betrayal without demanding forgiveness 131 169 172.
  • She Long / Snake Lance Douluo — Secret protector and participant in her coup. Later helps enforce the ceasefire and arrests the deacon who attempts to assassinate Ning Fengzhi 13 129 170.
  • Ci Xue / Porcupinefish Douluo — Protector assigned to secure Xue Ye’s bedchamber during the coup; leaves Heaven Dou with her after its failure 129 136.
  • Tang San — Recruitment target turned opponent. Their hostility remains, but they cooperate on rescues under explicit limits on retaliation and institutional accountability 131 132 156 166 188.
  • Xiao Wu — Initially someone she offers to protect as part of recruiting Tang San. Later offers to seek medicine for her and promises advance warning if another hunt is ordered 131 142.
  • Hu Liena — Operational ally who assists with hostage rescue, investigations, and the arrest of Salas 153 166 184.
  • Xie Yue and Yan — Teammates in the falcon hunt, coastal rescue operations, and Cold Pine Pass investigation 152 166 206.
