Background / History

Humans existed during the First and Second Universe Eras, but those earlier human civilizations were not powerful; the Second Universe Era's Human Race was not even a peak race. The Human Race of the current era rose to prominence through Primal Ancestor and Axe Founder. Before his suppression by the Original Universe, Primal Ancestor established humanity's reputation in the Cosmic Sea; he also left behind the Virtual Universe, a secret technique that became central to human civilization's development. 363

The modern Human Race is governed by powerful upper echelons that include Universe Venerables, Universe Overlords, and Universe Masters, who convene through the Supreme Council for matters affecting the race's future. 296 By the later conflicts with the Demon Race and Mech Clan, the Human Race possessed four Universe Supreme Experts. 343

Primal Ancestor's Legacy

• Primal Ancestor — An early Human Race powerhouse whose talent was regarded as extraordinary even among humanity's greatest figures. He created the Virtual Universe before being permanently suppressed for attempting to perform Body Snatching on the Original Universe. 228

Branches and Bloodlines

The Human Race includes many branches whose appearances may differ greatly from Earth humans. On Qiulong Star, many seemingly alien lifeforms are identified as branches of the Human Race. 129

• Earth Humans — A comparatively weak branch at first, originating from Earth in the Milky Way Galaxy. 136 137
• Manka People — A highly evolved human branch: infants are Planet-level, children are Star-level, youths are Cosmic-level, and adults are Domain Lords. 91
• Wild God Race — Alongside the Manka People, one of humanity's peak bloodlines; adults can naturally become Domain Lords. Members of both races rule the Wild Universe Country. 170

Human territory contains worlds with radically different conditions.

• Earth — The homeworld of Luo Xia and Luo Feng, located in the Milky Way Galaxy. 91 164
• Blissful World — A cyberpunk planet within Human Territory where mechanical prosthetics are common, violence is widespread, and lower-class residents face severe hopelessness and lack of opportunity. 275
• Wild Universe Country — A human-ruled universe country governed by Manka People and Wild God Race members. 170

Earth Humans

Earth was initially an extremely vulnerable human civilization. Before its rapid development, it had nearly seven billion humans, nearly one million Apprentice-level beings, fewer than one hundred Planet-level beings, and no Star-level experts. Alien adventurers considered it an easy target for conquest and enslavement. 137

Earth avoided earlier discovery because it was protected by Huyan Bo's Space Secret Method. 137 After Luo Xia and Luo Feng entered the wider universe, they warned Earth's leaders that the planet's weakness could lead to enslavement and began supporting humanity's evolution. 136

Accelerated Evolution

Luo Xia and Luo Feng acquired Mind-Sense Helmets and Violet Dew for global distribution. Violet Dew was expected to rapidly increase the number of Earth warriors and accelerate human genetic evolution. 136 137

Over tens of thousands of years, Earth transformed into a technologically advanced global civilization.

The Human Race treats collective strength as necessary for survival. Hong warned that individual genius alone was insufficient and that a young race required pioneers to create time and space for its development. 180

Human experts participate in major interspecies conflicts through the Extraterritorial Battlefield, the Original Stars, and the Cosmic Sea. On the Original Stars, Human Race Universe Venerables compete with countless races for treasures; conflict with the Zerg Race, Mech Clan, and Demon Race is especially frequent due to long-standing territorial hostility. 297 304

Luo Xia's rise substantially altered humanity's position. After becoming a Universe Venerable, he sought treasures from the Original Stars specifically to repay the Human Race and the Virtual Universe Company for the resources invested in his growth. 260 He later contributed nine Top-level Treasures to the race after driving alien forces from the First Battlefield alongside Voidfiend Devilgod. 282

Relations with Other Races

• Zerg Race — A longstanding hostile race and major opponent on the Extraterritorial Battlefield. After the Bug Race Empress's fall, the Zerg Race submitted directly to Luo Xia rather than to the Human Race, creating concern among human upper echelons that he might leave humanity. 190 337 338 339
