Background

Huisinuo served Spirit Hall through the reigns of Qian Daoliu, Qian Xunji, and Bibi Dong. Although retired as a bishop, he remained influential in Nuoding City. He grew dissatisfied with Spirit Hall’s direction under Bibi Dong, particularly a cut to his wages 9.

After meeting Jin Yang at Nuoding City’s Spirit Hall, Huisinuo examined his unsettling, Light-attribute Sunflower Martial Soul and measured his Soul Power at level fourteen. Impressed by Jin Yang’s progress from level-two-and-a-half Innate Soul Power, he offered to recommend him to an advanced academy specializing in plant Martial Souls 8 9.

Huisinuo also wrote a detailed report on Yu Xiaogang’s conduct during the confrontation at Nuoding Junior Soul Master Academy. Bibi Dong ordered him recalled after reading it, but Qian Daoliu intervened and declared Huisinuo under his protection 11.

When Jin Yang graduated, Huisinuo gave him the promised recommendation letter and a bracelet-shaped Storage Soul Tool that Huisinuo had received from his own teacher. He also arranged for Jin Yang to travel safely with a merchant caravan. At Plant Advanced Soul Master Academy, Jin Yang learned that Huisinuo and academy director Ye Nanzhu had been friends and fellow graduates 18 19 20.

Appearance

Six years after meeting Jin Yang, Huisinuo’s hair had turned entirely white and his back had grown more stooped, though he remained in good spirits 18.

Personality

Huisinuo enjoys encouraging hardworking young Soul Masters. He sees something of his younger self in Jin Yang’s determination and offers practical help rather than judging him solely by his low Innate Soul Power. Their later conversations and fishing trips show a teasing, affectionate side to their relationship 9 18 19.
