Background / History

Before travelling through time, Huo Yuhao cultivated at Shrek Academy. His breakthrough freed him from the mental link carried by Di Tian’s Reverse Scale, prompting the Beast God to demand his surrender. Yuhao resisted, exhausting all six Soul Spirits and sending them into collective slumber. He survived his wounds only because of the Gold of Life 1.

During recovery, his spiritual consciousness entered a space containing visions of his past and future, including his eventual ascension to the Divine Realm. Wang Qiu’er appeared there as an awakened spiritual presence. The visions revealed Tang San’s manipulation of Yuhao’s relationships and cultivation, including his refusal to restore Qiu’er after her sacrifice 1.

Remnants of the Life and Destruction God Kings explained that Tang San’s expanding authority threatened the Divine Realm’s balance. After sacrificing themselves against a future Space-Time Turbulence, they used their remaining Power of Creation to send Yuhao and Qiu’er’s memories ten thousand years into the past. Yuhao awakened in the Far North in Douluo Calendar year 2645, retaining relationships and knowledge that his former companions had not yet acquired 1 2.

Yuhao treats Soul Spirits as companions and family rather than expendable resources. The Ice and Snow Empresses witness memories in which he accepts grave injuries instead of sacrificing a Soul Spirit to save himself. This loyalty underpins his commitment to peace between humans and Soul Beasts 4.

His second chance makes him more independent and calculating. He selects Spirit Hall for its support of ordinary Soul Masters, questions histories written by its conquerors, and uses technology and the prospect of godhood to secure Bibi Dong’s cooperation. His opposition to Tang San is strategic: he intends to take opportunities before Tang San can exploit them 4 8 12.

He is courteous when restraint serves a purpose, apologizing to Yan after their fight and protecting his cultivation secrets without insulting Yue Guan. However, threats or insults directed at Qiu’er provoke an immediate response. In romance, regret has replaced his earlier reserve with open declarations and impulsive affection, including a kiss that initially shocks and angers her 8 14 16 20.

In the Far North, Yuhao’s familiarity with the Ice and Snow Empresses is mistaken for intrusion. After defeating their resistance, he uses Spiritual Sharing to explain his connection to them and proposes rebuilding the Spirit Pagoda. He then follows Qiu’er’s Origin Power to the Star Dou Great Forest 2 3 4.

His reunion with the Three-Eyed Golden Lion restores her knowledge of their future but does not immediately earn forgiveness. When Spirit Hall’s Golden Generation arrives, he protects her from being hunted, defeats Yan, and accepts Yue Guan’s invitation to join Spirit Hall 5 6 7 8.

Establishing the Spirit Transferring Hall

Yuhao wins Bibi Dong’s attention through his strength, Soul Tool demonstration, and God-Making Plan. She agrees to establish the Spirit Transferring Hall, while he assumes responsibility for securing Soul Beast participation and training Soul Engineers 9 10 11 12 13.

By the tournament final, Star Dou Great Forest has agreed in principle to the Spirit Transferring Plan, and Gengxin City’s blacksmiths have committed to developing and manufacturing his designs 21.

Reconciliation with Qiu’er

Qiu’er’s arrival at Spirit Hall Academy triggers a Spiritual Power contest with Hu Liena. Yuhao stops the confrontation before Qiu’er’s retaliation can cause greater harm, then privately declares that nothing matters more to him than her 13 14 15.

Qiu’er questions whether he loves her present self or merely the woman in his memories. His confession and impulsive kiss move their relationship forward without resolving her resentment. He subsequently returns her Golden Dragon Spear, while she undertakes negotiations with the Soul Beast leadership 16 17.

Continental Elite Soul Master Tournament

Bibi Dong appoints Yuhao captain of Spirit Hall Academy’s team and adds Qiu’er to its lineup. He declines to make a political betrothal part of the God-Making Plan and is instructed to hold back during the competition 18 22.

After defending Qiu’er during a street confrontation with Shrek, he initially limits his tournament contribution to Spiritual Sharing and defensive support. When Qiu’er’s spear injures Xiao Wu, Tang San activates the Seven-in-One Fusion Skill. Yuhao orders his teammates back and advances alone to face him; the supplied chapters end before their showdown is resolved 20 23 24.
