Background and History

Destruction was one of the five God Kings who originally governed the Douluo God Realm through the God Realm Committee. After Tang San became a god, the committee’s balance eroded; in the future witnessed through the God Kings’ memories, Tang San defeated Destruction and the Tang Family gained effective control of the realm 12.

Thirty years into the Divine Calendar, Destruction and the Life God King sacrificed themselves to briefly fuse their Power of Creation and save the God Realm from Space-Time Turbulence. They used that power to glimpse a future in which the realm would fall further under Tang San’s control and move toward ruin. Their final intervention was to send Huo Yuhao ten thousand years into the past, along with Wang Qiu’er’s memories 1 2.

Appearance

Destruction appears to Huo Yuhao as a handsome man seemingly in his thirties 1.

Personality

Destruction is blunt and quick-tempered. He scolds Huo Yuhao for enduring Tang San’s manipulation and hesitating to pursue Qiu’er; the Life God King intervenes to stop him spending their limited time on rebukes 1. He also refuses to explain every consequence of changing history, warning that too much information could cost them their only chance to succeed 2.

Abilities and Plans

Power of Creation

• Together with the Life God King, briefly fuses the Power of Creation to save the God Realm, glimpse its future, and send Huo Yuhao into the past 1.
• Leaves an aura on Huo Yuhao that Destruction and Life’s past selves will sense once Huo reaches Limit Douluo 2.

Instructions to Huo Yuhao

• Prevent Tang San from destroying the Rakshasa and Angel Divinities, but do not kill him outright: Destruction says that would produce an even worse outcome 2.
• Work with Soul Beasts through Qiu’er to establish a Soul Spirit system and Beast God Divinities 2.
• Keep the first Good and Evil God Kings in the Divine Realm. Destruction calls this the crucial step: their help, alongside the powers and rules of Human and Beast God Divinities, is needed to expand the realm enough to withstand Space-Time Turbulence 2.
