Background / History

Tang Wulin was born to Tang San and Xiao Wu in the Divine Realm. An enemy placed destructive power inside him to take revenge on Tang San. His parents sealed that power in eighteen layers and sent him to Douluo Continent, where divine energy would not trigger it. Tang San left a fragment of his divine soul with Wulin to protect him and guide its eventual absorption 3 7.

Raised by Tang Ziran and Lang Yue in an ordinary family in Aolai City, Wulin knew little about practical cultivation beyond what he had seen on television. During his Martial Soul awakening, he encountered a golden-armored boy resembling himself, who appeared to say, “Love this world for me.” A mysterious flash then left Wulin alone on Sea God Island 1 4 6.

Mu En offered him shelter in the Sea God Pavilion. Tang San’s awakened soul fragment subsequently identified their surroundings as Douluo Continent ten thousand years before Wulin’s original era, but could not explain the journey. Wulin accepted his divine parentage without abandoning his identity as Tang Ziran and Lang Yue’s son 1 3.
