Background
Tang Ya’s parents were killed along with the rest of her family. As head of the Tang Sect, she leads a diminished organization consisting of herself and three disciples. She attributes the sect’s decline to Soul Tools 14 15.
When Bei Bei introduces Tang Wulin to her, Tang Ya invites him to join the sect. He says he would be happy to but must first consult his elders; his membership is not confirmed 14. Tang Ya later leaves with Bei Bei to take their Shrek Academy advancement tests 15.
Personality
Tang Ya is visibly distressed when discussing the Tang Sect’s decline, but becomes excited at the possibility of recruiting Wulin. She also speaks out against Zhou Yi’s harsh treatment of students when she learns the incoming pupils have been placed in a different class 14 15.
