Responsibility for the sect
Ning Tian is the young leader of the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect, based in the Heaven Dou Empire. Once counted among the continent’s Upper Three Sects, it has declined over successive generations. She attributes its weakening position to the rise of Soul Tools, the reduced importance of pure support-type Soul Masters, and deterioration within its direct bloodline 3.
She comes to Shrek Academy with Wu Feng intending to enter the Inner Court and recruit an exceptional expert capable of protecting the sect. If necessary, she is prepared to marry a prodigy with the potential to become a Titled Douluo or Super Douluo and offer the entire sect as her dowry. Wu Feng vehemently opposes the idea of anyone exploiting her through marriage 3.
Encounter with Xiao Dong
At Shrek City’s gates, Xiao Dong approaches the pair and provokes Wu Feng. Ning Tian attempts to defuse the confrontation by identifying their sect and restraining her companion. Xiao Dong instead attacks the sect’s ancestral prestige, arguing that Ning Rongrong evolved her own Martial Soul but left her descendants without a complete path to do the same.
