Battle of Hokage and the Kings

Madara watched the claw descend with enough force to destroy heaven and earth. At last, his expression turned grave.

"Susanoo. Perfect form."

Blue Soul Power surged around him. Susanoo swelled wildly from hundreds of meters tall, becoming a colossal armored warrior thousands of meters high in the blink of an eye.

It stood with its head against the sky and its feet planted on the earth.

Layers of armor covered Susanoo, and its two swords had become enormous blades that blotted out the sun.

But that was not the crucial part.

His nine Truth-Seeking Orbs turned into a thin black film that clung to Susanoo's body.

Perfect Susanoo, clad in Truth-Seeking Orbs, gripped its swords with both hands and struck at the Dragon God Claw.

Boom!

The Dragon God Claw collided with Perfect Susanoo's swords, and heaven and earth changed color.

A vast rift tore open in space at the point of impact. It stretched for thousands of miles and refused to close for a long time.

The shockwave swept across dozens of miles. Every mountain peak was leveled, trees were torn out by the roots, and the ground sank a full ten meters.

When the dust cleared, a deep crack had appeared in one of Perfect Susanoo's swords.

Di Tian's god-level strike, bought by burning his own life, had been blocked. It had cost him half his life.

Madara Uchiha was not doing much better. The sword had stopped the claw, but the force of the Dragon God Claw had struck him from every direction.

Several claw wounds now marked his body, and thin trails of blood seeped from them.

If Limbo: Border Jail had not shielded him from the fatal blow, that strike would have killed him.

Madara Uchiha controlled Perfect Susanoo and threw back his head in laughter. At that moment, his wild, unbridled delight was on full display.

"You nearly killed me!

Of every opponent I've faced, you are undoubtedly the strongest when it comes to physical attacks. I, Madara Uchiha, acknowledge you as the strongest!"

"But it's over now."

Madara Uchiha forced his breathing steady, then brought a sword down, intending to cut Di Tian in two.

"No! I refuse to accept this!

How can a Martial Soul this outrageous exist?"

"Heh!

Humans really are a strange species. So weak, yet capable of unleashing strength that defies the heavens."

He had lost, and the defeat was absolute.

But just as Di Tian was about to perish, space shattered without warning.

A breathtaking figure stepped slowly out of the rift. She wore a long silver-white dress, her hair fell like a waterfall, her skin was fairer than snow, and her beauty was peerless. A faint silver glow surrounded her.

She merely stood there, and the elements of heaven and earth rejoiced at her presence.

Silver Dragon King Gu Yuena.

Her true body remained in a space deep within the heart of the Star Dou Great Forest. This was a spirit form she had conjured with her mental power.

Gu Yuena glanced at the dying Di Tian and frowned slightly. With a wave of her hand, gentle silver light enveloped him.

A tremendous life force flowed into Di Tian's body, stabilizing his aura.

"Enough."

Gu Yuena's voice was cool.

She glanced at Madara Uchiha, a trace of wariness flashing through her violet eyes.

Without another word, she stirred the power of space, shrank Di Tian, and stepped into the spatial rift with him.

It all happened in a few breaths, from her appearance to her departure with Di Tian.

Madara Uchiha stood atop Susanoo's head, his Rinnegan narrowing. He could sense that the woman who had appeared so suddenly was extraordinarily powerful, perhaps no weaker than he was.

The dragon aura around her was purer than Di Tian's. She was a terrifying expert who stood above him.

By all rights, encountering someone like that should have made Madara Uchiha stop. But he had no intention of stopping.

Di Tian had only just whetted his appetite. Now he wanted nothing more than a battle.

Perfect Susanoo strode forward. Each step crushed countless Soul Beasts, leaving white, yellow, and purple Soul Rings shining in its wake.

Madara drove Susanoo swiftly toward the source of the Silver Dragon King's aura—straight toward the heart of the Star Dou Great Forest.

Inside the cave, Lin Chen was wrapped in a blue Susanoo energy shield. The battle had not disturbed him in the slightest; he simply focused on absorbing his Soul Ring.

Even though it had been sacrificed to him, a hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring held tremendous energy. With the Gold of Life continually nourishing both his Martial Souls as well, the process was bound to take a long time.

Tang Ya, meanwhile, was in a frenzy!

Her entire body was submerged, with only her head above the water. Her eyes were bloodred, and she looked possessed.

Her Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul poured madly out of her body. Countless pitch-black vines plunged into the water, churning and devouring without pause.

This was no ordinary spring water. It held the blood of the countless Soul Beasts that had just died, along with much of Beast God Di Tian's dragon blood. The low-lying ground had gathered it all here.

Dark-gold dragon blood rolled and boiled through the pool, giving off a violent aura that made the heart tremble. By all rights, it should have corroded Tang Ya until nothing remained.

Fortunately, the immense life force released by the Gold of Life counteracted it, keeping Tang Ya in perfect balance.

The spring had become a boiling tonic for an Evil Soul Master, and Tang Ya's Blue Silver Grass devoured life—devoured everything.

Her black vines writhed through the spring, each one drawing it all in.

Dark-gold dragon patterns had already appeared on some of the vines, and faint dragon cries came from them. She grew stronger with every passing second.

When a whale fell, ten thousand things flourished. The saying held true.

Tang Ya's Soul Power soared from level 34 through 35, 36, 37, and 38. It kept climbing, with no sign of stopping.

Her Blue Silver Grass seemed ready to evolve into a dragon.

Elsewhere, Madara Uchiha charged onward, barreling through everything in his path without a care.

His enormous blue figure raced through the Star Dou Great Forest. Every step shook heaven and earth, and his speed was astonishing.

But when he reached the Mixed Zone, he stopped. A group of people had appeared ahead of him.

They were powerful, and they had the same peculiar air about them that he did.

He could sense the strange auras around them.

"Interesting!"

The woman could not escape him. He could find her sooner or later.

He did not mind playing with these people first.

Madara Uchiha came to a halt and looked down at them from atop Perfect Susanoo, thousands of meters above the ground. He spoke:

"Would you like to dance too?"

The members of the King's Escort Agency were startled by the sudden appearance of the blue giant.

Li Bai looked up at Madara Uchiha. "What the hell is that?

It looks pretty cool. Is it a Soul Beast?"

"Obviously not."

Zhao Huaizhen shook his head at once.

Yun Ying, however, summoned her red-tasseled spear.

"Who cares? Let's fight it first!"
