Background

Mo An was reincarnated into the Douluo Continent as the son of the Azure Bamboo clan’s leader. Spirit Hall attacked the clan after the Clear Sky Sect withdrew from the world. His father stayed to delay the attackers while the clan steward, Uncle Fu, escaped with the infant Mo An to North Sea City. Uncle Fu raised him there for six years and ran the Azure Bamboo Pharmacy 1.

Mo An wanted to demand justice from both Spirit Hall and the Clear Sky Sect, but initially tied that ambition to whether he had enough talent to survive pursuing it. After discovering his Innate Full Soul Power, he promised Uncle Fu that he would not act before gaining sufficient strength 1 2.

Appearance

Mo An looks like an ordinary child despite his exceptional aptitude; Ning Rongrong was surprised that he had no visibly extraordinary features 18.

He values reciprocity without assuming that powerful allies are automatically safe. He shared Whale Rubber’s benefits with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, yet he and Uncle Fu chose not to live together at its headquarters because either feared Uncle Fu could be used to pressure him 17. In a fight, Mo An can be tactful: he offered Xiong Feng a face-saving draw when he realized his opponent wanted to stop 10.
