Though Kong Deming said less than Du Busi, a faint smile still appeared on his face. "It's good that you're out."

Xu Tiance grinned. No sooner had he leaped from the spring and landed on the shore than Ye Guyi rushed over and threw herself into his arms.

In an instant, Xu Tiance felt a slight dampness against his chest.

His body stiffened.

He had just come out of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, and the fire within the Scorching Yang Spring had burned away every stitch of his clothing. This... was rather awkward.

But he could feel how deeply worried Ye Guyi had been. With a soft sigh, he said, "It's all right. I'm fine. More than fine, actually—I gained a lot from this. I now have Ultimate Ice, so I can help you take the Blazing Gel. Could you let go first so I can put some clothes on?"

Only then did Ye Guyi realize. She hurriedly released him and looked away, her cheeks and earlobes flushing crimson.

After pulling a set of clothes from his Soul Tool and putting them on, Xu Tiance found Kong Deming and Du Busi watching him with almost feverish eyes.

Kong Deming and Du Busi spoke almost in unison, leaving him unsure which question to answer first.

They were both right.

Tempered by the mingling waters of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, he had absorbed every trace of medicinal power within the Blazing Gel and Octagonal Mysterious Ice Crystal. His Sun-Moon Radiance Martial Soul had gained Ultimate Ice, and his body had been tempered to perfection.

Of course, his greatest gain was the development of his Cell Martial Soul, which he had completed without even trying.

Strictly speaking, Elemental Cell Transformation was one manifestation of cell omnipotent mutation. Beyond that, he could develop those mutated cells even further. Once his cells had achieved omnipotent mutation, other developments, such as differentiation and mimicry, would also become much easier.

As for Elemental Cell Transformation...

In a sense, it was much like eating a Logia Devil Fruit. He could now develop Self-Created Soul Skills with Ultimate Fire and Ultimate Ice without relying on his Sun-Moon Radiance Martial Soul.

The only difference was that a Logia Devil Fruit directly turned the body into an element. Though he had completed Elemental Cell Transformation, his body remained living flesh and blood. He had merely transformed every cell into a living vessel capable of producing and containing elemental energy.

In other words, he could fight much like someone who had eaten a Devil Fruit, but he could not become immune to physical attacks as its wielder could.

And for now, he had only completed Elemental Cell Transformation for ice and fire. In the future, he could transform his cells to wield even more elements.

Lightning, water, earth, wind, and so on.

With ice and fire as examples to follow, transforming his cells for other elements would not be as difficult as the first time, nor would it require treasures like the Blazing Gel and Octagonal Mysterious Ice Crystal.

Ye Guyi dared not delay and hurriedly entered a meditative state.

The air around her grew steadily hotter, and even the ground beneath her turned a deep, dark red. As she breathed, a faint golden-red light rose from her body. Its scorching aura made even Xu Tiance, who possessed both Ultimate Fire and Ultimate Ice, glance over in surprise.

The next instant, Ye Guyi's Holy Angel Martial Soul appeared, and a pair of pure white wings unfurled from her back. Then a faint golden-red hue spread across them.

That aura... it was Ultimate Fire!
