Background and History

After criticizing Yu Xiaogang online, Lin Fan is bound to a role-playing system and placed in Yu’s twenty-year-old body. He believes he has entered a single-player game, unaware that the Firmament broadcasts his actions across Douluo Continent and compares him with the real Yu Xiaogang 1 4.

Lin Fan first challenges Yu’s level-29 bottleneck and transforms Luo Sanpao. He then rejects a romantic reunion with the young Bibi Dong to propose compulsory Soul Master education, redistribution of cultivation resources, commoner-led Soul Tool research, and an end to hereditary sect rule. When Qian Xunji grows suspicious, Lin Fan leaves Spirit City while Bibi Dong remains as an inside ally 2 3 6 10 11.

At Tack Town, he organizes commoners and refugees into a firearms-equipped force. His workshops advance from crude muskets and water-powered forging to steelmaking, mortars, mechanized production, and an armored train. His forces defeat Spirit Hall Soul Masters, including Soul Saints and Titled Douluo; Lin Fan later kills Qian Xunji with an anti-materiel rifle.
