Obito Uchiha confronted Konan for Nagato’s Rinnegan, while Konan fought back with paper attacks and explosive tags. Obito revealed that his Dual Kamui let him attack while intangible and tore apart half of Konan’s body.

• Obito Uchiha demanded that Konan hand over Nagato’s Rinnegan, but she refused and attacked him with paper blades.
• Konan used Senbon Rain and paper wheels to keep Obito Uchiha intangible, then detonated explosive tags attached to him.
• Obito Uchiha emerged unharmed from the explosions, and Konan continued attacking with Paper Rain and giant paper spears.

Konan nearly died defending the Rinnegan from Obito Uchiha, but Madara Uchiha arrived before Obito could kill her. Shinji Uchiha then appeared beside Obito, leaving all three Uchiha facing off as Konan revealed that Obito had the Rinnegan.

He then arrived at Orochimaru’s laboratory, where Hiruko announced that his completed Chimera Technique had created a life-form, and Shinji agreed to see it underground.

Pakura told Kakashi that Sunagakure had surrendered, before a revived Ten-Tails appeared near Shinji with a Rinne Sharingan. Shinji released the Tailed Beasts and began sealing the Ten-Tails into himself, as Orochimaru spotted a threat behind him.

• Kakashi asked Pakura how she had ended up in the laboratory, and she explained that she had been captured after Sunagakure surrendered.
• A violent earthquake forced Kakashi and the others to flee the mountain, where they saw seven Tailed Beasts and a gigantic living monster.
• Uchiha Itachi recognized the monster as a transformed, living version of the Ten-Tails Husk used by the Akatsuki to capture Tailed Beasts.
• The Ten-Tails revealed a Rinne Sharingan, and Shinji concluded that its will had been replaced by his own, allowing him to gain power on Kaguya's level as its Jinchuriki.
• Shinji released the Tailed Beasts, then used the Six Paths: Ten-Tails Coffin Seal to draw the Ten-Tails into his body.

• Obito Uchiha appeared behind Orochimaru, but Orochimaru escaped his Wood Release attack and urged him to kill Shinji or seize the Tailed Beasts.
