"The Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, Infinite Tsukuyomi..." Konan looked gravely at Nagato. "The plan Madara told us about back then only went as far as reviving the Ten-Tails. We may really have been used by that so-called Madara Uchiha."
"Things have already reached this point. We can't stop now." Nagato's expression was heavy. "As long as I still have the Rinnegan, we have the advantage. We can discuss the rest once the Golden Cicada Shedding Its Shell plan is complete."
"Nagato, from now on, I won't leave your side. I won't give Madara an opening," Konan said.
"Konan, thank you." Nagato looked at her gratefully.
"Do we really need to say things like that to each other? Since Yahiko died, you've been the only family I have left." Konan shook her head.
Meanwhile, in Otogakure in the Land of Rice Fields, Orochimaru had naturally received the intelligence from the Underground Black Market as well.
"The Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, Infinite Tsukuyomi..." Orochimaru murmured with a smile. "What fascinating things. And judging by the news coming out of Konoha, that fool Jiraiya confirmed the information at Mount Myōboku."
Orochimaru had, after all, once been one of Konoha's Sannin, a man who had come within a step of becoming Hokage. Even after defecting, he still had informants in Konoha who could obtain information from its middle and upper ranks.
"The Allied Shinobi Forces of the Five Great Shinobi Villages? That truly would be an unprecedented undertaking." Orochimaru smiled.
"Understandable, too. Their enemies are a leader with the Rinnegan and that so-called Madara Uchiha, after all." He did not consider it an overreaction.
Orochimaru had also heard about what had happened in Kirigakure. He had an intelligence network of his own.
"Speaking of which, Konoha is like a turtle's shell these days. It's so difficult to get
