Neji Makes His Move

The battle between Obito Uchiha and the partially transformed Mizukage, Karatachi Yagura, caused such an enormous commotion that all of Kirigakure could feel the disturbance coming from its center.

Even those who were not sensory ninja could feel the oppressive atmosphere created by those immense chakra fluctuations.

In an instant, large numbers of Kirigakure ninja rushed toward the scene of the battle.

Mei Terumi and Ao, who were in the Mizukage Office Building, naturally could not sit still either. They rose in alarm and uncertainty, walked to the window, and looked toward the source of the commotion.

Unfortunately, the dense mist completely blocked their view.

"Ao, something has happened to the Mizukage!" Mei Terumi said with a frown.

"With this much commotion... Lord Mizukage must have entered a Partial Tailed Beast Transformation!" Although Ao phrased it as a guess, his tone was utterly certain.

The incident was already beyond the Byakugan's viewing range.

Mei Terumi turned to an Anbu member standing by and ordered, "Gen, gather the village's elite ninja. Leave the genin behind. A battle against an enemy like this is not something genin can take part in."

"Yes!" an Anbu member answered from the corner.

"All Anbu, heed my command! Head to the battlefield immediately and provide support!" At Mei Terumi's order, dark figures shot out of the office building, using the Body Flicker Technique to head toward the commotion.

Finally, she looked at Ao, who was waiting beside her. "Ao, we're going to support Lord Mizukage right now."

With that, Mei Terumi led the way out of the building through the open window, and Ao followed close behind.

Hmm? They really are going to the battlefield to support the Mizukage? Neji, who had been watching Ao, immediately noticed their movements.
