When Xu Yi and the three elf elders arrived at the Experimental Base the Magic Research Institute had established on the outskirts of the Main Base, they saw that Cassandra had actually assumed her dragon form. She floated in midair, mana swirling around her as magic elements of various attributes surged back and forth, creating an intimidating spectacle.
"What is she doing?" Bewildered, Xu Yi flew over to Akali, who was also hovering in midair, watching Cassandra while busily taking notes. "And why has she returned to her dragon form? Didn't I say we shouldn't let word get out?"
"Huh? President, you're here." Akali merely glanced up at Xu Yi before turning back to watch Cassandra, casually issuing instructions to the other researchers around her.
Seeing that she was at her busiest, Xu Yi shook his head and stepped aside for the moment.
The three elders who had accompanied Xu Yi flew over as well. Elder Windini glanced at Cassandra and asked in puzzlement, "Judging by what she's doing, is she casting the Dragon Race's unique dragon-speech magic?"
"Dragon-speech magic?" Elder Elusia and Elder Lysania exchanged a look and both shook their heads.
Unlike the Azshara Tribe led by Elder Windini, the Night Song Tribe and Moon Shadow Tribe had not split off from the elves' Royal Court. They therefore had not preserved as much of the elves' heritage. They had heard of dragon-speech magic, but knew nothing about it.
Now that they were seeing it firsthand, they found that this magic was quite different from both the magic humans had later refined and the elves' own magic. It was indeed very likely to be the legendary dragon-speech magic.
But the question was... why was Cassandra using dragon-speech magic here?
