After Xu Yi escaped an ambush and the guild’s holdings were seized, he put the guild on a wartime footing as battles showed military magic machinery’s power against conventional forces.

• Akali flew alone to aid the Xinfei Merchant Guild Transport Team, and Captain Rhinehart’s mana airships arrived to drive off the goblins and rescue them.
• Xu Yi rejected an attack on the goblins, approved aid for the branch, and learned that the Southern Airship Exploration Team had discovered a vast continent south of the Sains Continent.
• A protest at the Nam Co Mine turned violent, and Zeborto, guild employees, and Dero were killed or went missing as the mine was seized.
