After confirming that Archmagos Kelbor would lead the repairs, Lorgar turned his attention back to the latest reports.

The documents spread across his desk resembled unfolded star charts, every page filled with data on the Rebel Forces' movements, conditions in nearby Star Systems, resource reserves, and military deployments.

His fingers skimmed the paper, guiding his gaze back and forth across one report after another.

"I've decided..." Lorgar began slowly.

Just then, Curze entered as well.

His footsteps were soundless, like a shadow peeling away from the darkness.

He did not knock or even pause at the doorway, but walked straight into the conference room. His silhouette passed the edge of the corridor's slanting light, as though he had emerged from a swath of darkness.

"Lorgar," Curze said as he entered.

"Curze, you're just in time." Lorgar looked up, nodded slightly when he saw him, and gestured for him to sit.

"We're preparing to return to Terra's aid," Lorgar said.

"No, we cannot return to Terra's aid now," Curze suddenly declared, his tone adamant.

"At least, not yet."

At Curze's words, Lorgar's expression tightened.

His jaw tensed slightly, and his gaze lingered on Curze's face.

He knew Curze. If he said that, it had to mean he had seen something.

"What did you see?" Lorgar asked.

"I saw the future. Six beacons pierced the phantoms of the Warp, misleading countless ships of the Imperial Fleet into the storms."

"They were scattered across different Star Systems, each shining with a light like the Astronomican's. Those lights intertwined with the true Astronomican, forming a fog within the Warp in which no direction could be discerned. Vast Imperial Fleets hurtled toward them like moths to a flame, ship after ship sailing into the heart of the storms, torn apart by the vortices of Chaos
