Zorge's pupils looked at the top of Medical Pod, which was a whole gray-white alloy plate with several thick pipes hanging from the ceiling, connecting Life Support System on both sides of the bulkhead.
The cold white lighting made a buzzing sound in the cabin, illuminating the entire space without a shadow.
Outside Observation Window on one side of the hatch, you can see the bulkhead corridor painted in dark gray, black, and silver white.
At this moment, four figures in armor gathered around a medical bed.
"Abaddon, where did you get this guy?" The person speaking was a soldier standing on the left. He was tall and wearing Justaerin Terminators armor.
That's Kaebo, formerly Sons of Horus Legion Justaerin Terminator Force Commander, now Word Bearers's subordinate Black Legion Adjutant.
He held a short blade in his hand and was turning the handle carelessly, but his eyes always fell on the unconscious figure on the bed.
Abaddon stood at the end of the bed with pigtails on her head, arms crossed in front of her chest.
He glanced at Kaebo with a hint of speechlessness in his tone. "How do I know? His ship directly hit me Warship. If you ask me, who should I ask?"
"Did you call Apothecary? Do you need to extract his Gene-seed? After all, we don't know which side Alpha Legion is on." This interruption came from Tarek Torgaddon who was standing on the right.
Abaddon shook his head. "The person is not dead yet, he just fainted."
"This layer of armor on his body is almost worn out. Let's wake up first."
"Prepare stimulating electric shocks to forcefully awaken the brain." Abaddon's voice was clear and crisp. He turned his head and gestured to Loken, who was standing beside the bed.
Garviel·Loken squatted on one knee beside the bed, inspecting the cracks in Zorge's wrist armor.
Hearing the command, he nodded slightly, reached out and pressed Control Panel on the side of the medical bed, and entered a set of electric shock parameters.
Loken paused for a moment, his eyes fell on the layer of black liquid seeping out from the gaps in Zorge's plastron, and whispered, "This thing is seeping out of his body. It doesn't look like ordinary corrosive liquid."
The current passes through the electrode connecting wire and directly penetrates into the nerve interface of Zorge's back neck and chest.
The brain that had already fainted was violently stimulated, and the crouched body suddenly twitched violently, the spine arched, and the fingertips dug into the metal edge of the medical bed.
There was a muffled sound squeezed out by the current from Zorge's throat, but he did not wake up.
Loken increases the output by one gear.
The sizzling sound of electric current makes a subtle sound where the electrode contacts the skin.
The next second, Zorge opened his eyes sharply.
The eyes had no focus the moment they opened, and the pupils shrank violently, reflecting the dazzling light from above.
His vision wandered for two or three seconds, and then it gradually focused on the white ceiling in front of him, as if it was reattached with glue.
Immediately afterwards, he saw four faces.
Izekiel·Abaddon.
Kaebo.
Garviel·Loken.
Tarek·Torgaddon.
The four people gathered around Zorge, looking curiously at the Alpha Legion warrior in front of them.
Look at the cyan Alpha armor on his body, his bald head, wheat-colored skin, and the black rot that is constantly oozing out from the abdominal wound.
His chest rises and falls slowly, and every breath brings an obvious and forceful pulling feeling, like an engine that has been worn to the extreme and is still trying to run.
"Here is..." Zorge just raised his head and was about to look around, when Abaddon stepped forward and held him down.
That huge palm pressed down on Zorge's chest and pushed him back onto the medical bed.
"Battle-Brother, what happened to you?" Abaddon asked in a low voice.
Zorge's lips moved and his breathing became rapid.
His tongue stirred in the dry mouth, as if he was trying to piece together a complete syllable.
His Adam's apple rolled up and down.
"Gon... Gurney... er..." He struggled to say the name, his voice almost too low to hear.
"Brother, what are you talking about?" Abaddon came closer.
Zorge suddenly used up all the remaining strength in his body and stood up suddenly.
That movement caused more blood to gush out from his mouth and splash on Abaddon's breastplate.
His fingers tightly grasped the edge of Abaddon's shoulder armor, his nails scratching the paint surface with a harsh sound, and he put his lips close to Abaddon's ear.
"Eat my brain! Brother Word Bearers!" His voice came out of his throat, rapid and broken, but with an almost crazy determination.
"This is a very important piece of information. It's too late!" Abaddon's pupils shrank slightly.
Kaebo on the side has already taken half a step behind him, his hand has already grasped the weapon on his waist, and he is watching Zorge's movements alertly.
Torgaddon's face did not change, but his eyes fell on Abaddon's face, waiting for instructions.
Loken opened his mouth slightly, but ultimately said nothing.
He could see that Zorge was not talking crazy. In those eyes burned by pain and pollution, there was a certain will that was about to be extinguished but still hot.
"Eat it!" Zorge continued, his voice distorted by pain, but the rhythm of those words became faster and faster.
"These pollutants are contaminating my brain! Eat it! Quick! This is important information!" His fingers gripped Abaddon's shoulder armor harder, blood kept pouring out from the corners of his mouth, and poured back from his nose, making his throat make a gurgling sound.
The contaminants had completely corroded his internal organs.
His life has come to an end.
He knows this best.
The black matter brought out from the core of Gungnir has been spreading in his flesh and blood from the beginning, devouring more healthy tissue every second.
The reason why he has been able to hold on until now is entirely due to Space Marine's iron will and his obsession with completing the task.
But the time has come Mark IV Maximus.
The black turbid liquid had penetrated into his spinal cord and meninges, and he could no longer hold on for even one minute.
He let go of Abaddon's shoulder armor and slumped back on the bed, but his eyes were still fixed on Abaddon, his lips opened and closed. "Quick... brother..."
Abaddon looked at the pair of eyes that were losing their luster, looked at the black blood pouring out from between the opponent's mouth and nose, and captured what was conveyed by Zorge's remaining pupil.
Abaddon lowered his head and did not ask another question.
He leaned over and held Zorge's head with both hands.
Then, Abaddon opened his mouth and bit Zorge's head.
His teeth penetrated the soft part where the skin meets the forehead bone. At that moment, Zorge's body spasmed heavily, and then relaxed completely, like a string that had finally been broken.
In an instant, countless information poured into Abaddon's brain.
It felt like a flood pouring into a long-dry river. Data, images, sounds, coordinates, and timelines all exploded in his consciousness in a simultaneous juxtaposition.
Everything is compressed into a dense flow of information, like a whole Library being forcibly stuffed into a mind.
Abaddon's body shook slightly, and Loken stepped forward and held his arm.
That information penetrated memory and cognition, and was firmly embedded in the depths of his consciousness.
Abaddon covered his head, feeling the baptism of this terrifying information flow.
