Before Utio's order completely dissipated in the air, the silence of the entire Gungnir was torn apart by a loud noise coming from the flank.
The dome of Command Room dropped fine dust during the vibration. The pipelines overhead shook violently under the impact. Several armor plates peeled off from the walls and flew near Control Panel with a scream.
Alarm roared like a beast whose throat was cut.
"The left side is under attack!" The hoarse shout of a Tech-Priest poured in from Communications Channel, mixed with the noise of static electricity and system overload.
"It's Word Bearers! They knocked Warship into our left side!" Another voice followed closely, piercing through the chaos of Alarm.
The Sensors screen of Command Room jumps violently and switches to the perspective of the external monitor.
I saw a huge black Battleship crashing into the port armor of Gungnir in an almost suicidal manner.
The bow of the ship has been deeply embedded in the multi-strengthened steel barrier, like an arrow nailed into the shield. The entire Ship maintains the inertia of forward motion, pressing all its own weight towards the wound. The armor dents inward around the impact point, making a continuous sound of metal tearing.
The defense Turrets on the flanks was shattered into scrap metal in the impact, the nearby apron was crushed, and countless Servitor and guards were crushed into thin pulp in the squeeze.
Flames and broken metal splashed across the flanks of Gungnir, condensing into a slowly spreading cloud of debris in the vacuum.
And at the last moment before the Warship crashed into the Gungnir, Abaddon was standing in front of the command podium on top of the Bridge, giving the order that was enough to be recorded in the history of Horus Heresy.
Boarding.
Boarding at all costs.
He glanced at the huge steel silhouette getting closer and closer outside the porthole, and then moved his gaze to the control panel of Ship.
Following that order, the energy cycle of the entire Battleship was instantly out of balance. Except for the little energy necessary to maintain the Void Shield, all power was roughly poured into the engine.
The huge hull accelerated wildly under the push of overload, and there was a heavy sound of metal twisting in the engine room. The armor plate glowed dark red under the heat load. The entire giant ship turned into a meteorite filled with rage and crashed into Gungnir without hesitation.
The moment the impact occurred, even the vacuum was torn into a silent Lightning.
Trillions of tons of metal collide with gigatons of metal, just like two Citys crushing each other.
Gungnir's flank armor dented inward like a shield smashed by a giant fist. Cracks spread from the impact point to all sides, and the bulkhead spanning tens of thousands of meters made a harsh creaking sound as it was squeezed.
The moment Warship embedded Gungnir in the front end, the Boarding launchers densely distributed on both sides of the ship's bow were turned on at the same time, and densely packed Drop Pod bearing the Black Legion logo shot towards the breach of Gungnir at extremely high speeds.
Almost at the same moment, tens of thousands of Space Marine belonging to the Black Legion, riding Kharybdis and Dreadclaw Drop Pod, crashed into Gungnir.
The metal penetrated the armor and rushed into the cabin with molten sparks and broken fragments.
The hatch exploded, and the heavily armed Space Marine stepped out of the twisted wreckage of the Drop Pod. Bolter was held in front of their chests, and the Chainsword weapon was activated.
They poured in from the breach in the flank, marching through the veins of Gungnir in the name of Emperor.
Abaddon was the first to rush out of the main Drop Pod.
The heavy Warhammer in his hand still bore the dark traces of the previous battle. The braid on his head was swaying in the airflow. He crushed the fragments under his feet and stepped out of a passage stained with blood.
He saw two warriors in front of him wearing Sons of Horus dark green carapace raising their guns to intercept. Then Abaddon's hammer swung out a semicircle and cut into the first warrior's shoulder armor.
The thick layer of ceramic and metal composite armor exploded under the impact of the hammer head, with fragments and flesh flying at the same time. The soldier was knocked to the side and his chest collapsed into a pit.
Before Warhammer's remaining momentum was gone, Abaddon turned around, swept the hammer handle and smashed the second soldier's gun-holding arm, and smashed him into the wall with both body and armor. The wall dented under the impact, and the soldier's body was embedded in the cracked iron plate, and he could no longer get up.
"In the name of Lorgar! Punish the traitors!" Abaddon's roar exploded in the passage.
He continued to charge forward, followed by the Black Legion warriors who were also roaring.
The entire passage became a bloody mess from the Bolt shooting and Chainsword cutting. Every break and every confrontation was accompanied by broken armor and splashing blood.
Rebel Forces inside Gungnir initially tried to organize Defense Line, but Abaddon's offensive was like a beast charging into the herd, causing the entire defense line to fall apart at the moment of contact.
Gunshots suddenly came from around the corner, and a string of Bolt passed by Abaddon, hitting the bulkhead and blasting several charred holes.
Abaddon stopped, turned around, and his eyes fell on the figure walking out of the shadows.
It was a Space Marine Commander who was much taller than the other Space Marine around him. The dark green Sons of Horus wore a mark representing 254th Company on his carapace. The hand holding the gun was as steady as a mountain, and a pair of eyes full of anger were revealed under Helmet.
"Abaddon!" the man roared, with uncontrollable anger and teeth-gnashing hatred in his voice.
"You are standing on the opposite side of Warmaster!"
Abaddon looked at him and did not answer him. He just turned Warhammer and let the hammer head hang to the ground, making a soft metal clang sound.
"It's not that I stand against Warmaster, but Warmaster and Sons of Horus Legion stand against humanity!" He raised his hand and pointed to the surrounding portholes that were still spewing flames and debris.
"I'm here to put an end to this mistake!"
At the same time as these words fell, the Power Klaw in Abaddon's hand drew a silver arc and pierced a Sons of Horus Legion soldier who was shooting at him.
The sharp Talon Blades tore into the dark green armor and penetrated the chest with unparalleled force. Disruption Field was activated the moment it came into contact with flesh and blood.
The warrior's body trembled violently under the agitation of Talon Blades, and his internal organs were instantly decomposed into scorching hot fragments. Blood spurted out from the cracks in the torn carapace, covering the passage floor.
Abaddon exerted a slight force and threw the body that was no longer humanoid from the claws. Blood mixed with metal and internal organ fragments spread all over the battlefield.
"Then I will stop you, Abaddon!" Hobart rushed from the other side, with a huge Power Fist on his fist, and Blue Light flashed on the edge of Disruption Field.
Full of rage, he punched Abaddon on the head.
Boom!
With Disruption Field's steel fist, he hit Abaddon hard on the face.
The force of that impact was enough to shatter Terminator Armour, enough to break the skull of an ordinary Space Marine into powder.
Abaddon was not wearing Helmet, so his unprotected face received the blow head-on.
The fist hit his cheekbone, making a tooth-piercing sound. The flesh was cut open, and blood spurted out from his forehead and the bridge of his nose.
His body was pushed back slightly by the force, but the soles of his feet were still firmly nailed to the ground.
Hobart watched helplessly as his full blow was caught by the opponent in such a cruel way, and he was stunned.
His instinct told him that this blow was enough to knock anyone down, but the eyes of Abaddon in front of him were still bright, and the face that was dripping with blood even slowly showed an arc that could almost be called a mockery.
Abaddon raised the hand that was not holding the hammer and grabbed Power Fist's wrist.
Hobart tried to withdraw his arm, but found that the force was extremely powerful, so strong that no matter how hard he struggled, he could not break free.
The next moment, Abaddon's palm suddenly exerted force, throwing Hobart and the huge Power Fist away together.
Hobart's body drew a heavy arc in the air and hit the wall on the other side of the passage.
The wall cracked open with large spider web-like cracks under the impact. Hobart's whole body fell into the broken metal plate, and the shattered carapace fragments flew everywhere.
"Your power is not even as powerful as the punch Hercules gave me." Abaddon touched the blood mark on his face, traced his finger across the wound that was condensing rapidly, and showed a mocking smile.
