"I didn't expect you all to come, Valdor."
Utio's voice came out from under the red robe, with a plain tone.
He did not retreat. The five-meter-tall mechanical body stood in the hall, and the red optics Sensors locked directly on the golden figure in front of him.
He knows what it means for Adeptus Custodes to come here, and he even knows what the name Valdor means.
But he has no fear, or in other words, his programming does not give him that emotion.
He simply recalibrated the combat parameters, switching all remaining weapon systems from assassin mode to anti-Adeptus Custodes mode.
In response to Utio, it was Apollonian Spear played by Valdor.
The spear blade drew a golden arc in the air, causing a sharp sound of wind.
Valdor's response was that he poured his power into the handle of the ancient weapon, allowing it to slash at Utio's body at a speed far beyond the tracking ability of the naked eye.
The spear blade landed at the joint between Utio's shoulder armor and breastplate. The thickness of the armor there was lower than the front of the breastplate, but it was also forged from Adamantium.
The spear blade tore through the armor, making a dull sound of metal tearing, leaving a horrific wound on Utio's body.
At the fracture, the cut armor rolled outwards, revealing the beating energy conduits and hydraulic lines inside.
A stream of high-pressure coolant spurted out from the crack, turning into white steam in the air of the hall.
"Emperor ordered you to be killed." Valdor finally spoke.
He had already crossed the gap and swung out the Apollonian Spear in his hand again.
Each swing and retreat follows a trajectory accurate to the millimeter, like a machine that has completed all calculations and started executing.
Valdor's Apollonian Spear waved afterimages in its hands.
The spear was like a living thing in Valdor's palm. The spear blade landed on Utio repeatedly from different angles. Each blow left dozens of wounds on the once indestructible armor.
Utio tried to use nano Staff to resist the next blow, but Valdor's spear blade had already bypassed the Staff's defensive trajectory and directly pierced the power transmission pipeline at his waist.
Part of the power output in his body was lost in that wound.
Utio had to retreat.
His mechanical body moved a few steps behind Temple, and the metal limbs scratched out several dazzling Mars lines on the floor.
He was more than capable of dealing with the incoming assassins.
Every attack of those assassins relies on speed and concealment, and he only needs to analyze his own defense intervals in a short time and use the weapon system to suppress them.
But facing Valdor who could fight Primarch for several minutes, Utio had to avoid the edge temporarily.
Every time Apollonian Spear is swung in Valdor's hand, the space of Utio is shortened.
His Mechanical Body is still moving, but the choices it can make are decreasing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
"Bang bang bang bang!!!"
The micro-Missile array on the belly of Utio was opened, and twelve Missiles were shot out from the armored cabin with tail flames, and all of them hit Valdor.
Missile exploded in front of Valdor, and a string of fireballs from First Company covered his golden figure like an angry wave.
The heat wave of the explosion spread to all directions, and some equipment in the hall that was still working lost its stability during the impact, emitting a sharp Alarm.
Metal Shard and flames enveloped the area where Valdor was standing, forming a short visual barrier.
But the explosion did not hurt Valdor, and it did not even scratch the armor made of Auramite on his body.
When the flames dissipated, Valdor was still standing there, with not even a scratch left on the surface of the golden armor.
He raised his head, looked through the Smoke that had not yet dispersed, and repositioned the position of Utio.
While Valdor was enveloped in the flames of the explosion, Utio pulled away.
He retreated to a giant pillar at the rear of Temple, regrouped his energy, and activated the defense systems that had not yet been destroyed.
His nano Staff re-condensed in his palm, and the red crystal on the top began to recharge.
Valdor also took a few steps back.
He does not need to pursue, because he knows that Utio has nowhere to retreat.
He turned his head, looked at the Callidus Assassin who were still looking for attack opportunities in the shadows, and calmly issued the order, "Officio Assassinorum, retreat. We will take over the current battle situation."
The latter nodded.
She knows what will happen next once Adeptus Custodes takes over the battlefield.
She put the Phase Sword in her hand back to her waist and sent a silent evacuation signal to the remaining assassins.
The remaining assassins quickly disappeared into the darkness.
Fifty Adeptus Custodes held Guardian Spear and approached Utio.
They lined up in a fan shape and advanced from three directions of the hall at the same time, with uniform steps.
The spear blade reflected a cold light under the light, like a circular copper wall slowly closing in.
The golden armor made a low and dense sound of metal friction as it moved, as if a high wall was approaching it.
"False Emperor's minions, the reaction speed is so fast." Utio's voice came from the red optical Sensors. He tried to reopen Communications Channel, but the signal disconnection device was still working, and all his distress signals did not elicit any response.
Some of his Machine God Guard have already rushed to the outskirts of Temple, but the battle with the Adeptus Custodes team is in a stalemate.
In a short period of time, they were unable to break through the blockade formed by the golden carapace and Guardian Spear.
Utio backed up, not facing the sharp Guardian Spear of Adeptus Custodes.
He chose to constantly adjust his position, trying to use the equipment and pillars in the hall to limit the encirclement speed of Adeptus Custodes.
He destroyed a Control Console next to him, letting the broken metal pieces scatter in the aisle, trying to slow down the advancement of those golden figures.
Valdor will stop talking nonsense with Utio.
He stepped forward to attack, Apollonian Spear waved, forcing Utio to be unable to counterattack.
Each swing carried the power of the entire arm and the waist. After the spear blade pierced the armor on the left shoulder, the wrist rotated, prying up a large piece of armor on the shoulder, revealing the muscle bundles and metal frame below that were spewing white steam.
The spear handle swept across Utio's leg armor. The armor made a sound and shattered under the impact, forcing Utio's right knee to bend backward, making his posture unstable.
Utio waved nano Staff in an attempt to fight back.
Staff The crystal at the top released a shock wave. Valdor deflected the spear handle and directed the shock wave to his side, causing it to explode a crack on the pillar of the hall.
Then Apollonian Spear swung out again, and the spear blade cut through Utio's arm holding Staff.
The incision was so deep that it almost severed the entire forearm from the elbow.
Staff, which lost power output, fell from Utio's hand and hit the metal floor with a heavy echo.
Nanometal quickly loses activity on the surface of Staff and shrinks into a dark gray metal residue.
Utio, who had lost his right arm, tilted his body to the right. The light in the red Sensors flashed several times, redistributing the remaining power to maintain balance.
Valdor did not give him time to rebalance.
Apollonian Spear pierced Utio's chest armor, and the spear blade and spearhead penetrated from the back.
Utio's mechanical body made a harsh sound of metal cracking. The crack on the breastplate expanded outwards, and the energy conduit inside burst open, spewing out a mixture of sparks and steam.
Valdor Turn the spear handle, rotate the spear blade in the steel, and cut more pipelines.
Utio raised his remaining left arm and reached towards Valdor's face in an attempt to grab his armor, but Valdor blocked the blow with his shoulder armor and at the same time pulled the spear blade out of Utio's chest.
A line of fire erupted from the hole, flowing like blood on the floor.
Utio's body fell backwards, hit the giant pillar, slid down, and half-knelt on the ground.
Coolant was still spewing out from the fracture of his right arm, short-circuit sparks flickered in the hollow in his chest, and the light of the red optical device Sensors began to become unstable, sometimes bright and sometimes dim.
He tried to speak, but the vocal unit in his throat was damaged, and only a burst of chaotic electromagnetic noise came out, with a few incomplete syllables in it.
Valdor stepped forward, holding Apollonian Spear in his hand above his head. The spear blade drew a golden arc in the dark red light of Mars that shined through the breach in the dome.
The spear blade fell and cut through Utio's neck.
Adamantium The armor cracked inward under the spear blade, shattering like glass after a heavy blow.
The spear blade penetrated the metal frame, pipe harness and hydraulic cylinder of the neck, severing all the structures connecting the head and body.
The mechanical head rolled off Utio's body, hit the metal floor, rolled a few times and stopped next to the wreckage of several Skitarii.
The light of the red optical Sensors was completely extinguished after the last intense flash.
Utio's body remained in a kneeling position for a few seconds, and then fell forward like a tower that had lost its support, hitting the floor, raising a cloud of metal dust and sparks.
The body of Utio was also destroyed by Valdor.
