"Bang! Boom! Bang! Boom! Bang! Boom!..."

Heavy thuds like meteorite impacts erupted through the space station, accompanied by the piercing shriek of metal structures being forcibly torn apart and twisted.

Dozens of Assault Drop Pods painted in dull blue-grey and pallid white, their surfaces etched with the Death Guard Legion Insignia, slammed through the station's outer hull and internal decks like deadly spores, burying themselves deep within its structure with brutal force.

Their hatches blasted outward amid the hiss of high-pressure gas.

Silence.

Deathly silence.

Then came heavy footsteps, like great hammers striking steel plates.

Dozens of Death Guard warriors emerged from the Smoke and twisted metal, clad in thick, angular Cataphractii Terminator Power Armour built with practical reinforcements.

Their armour's paintwork was mottled, bearing the wear and repairs of years of campaigning, and they moved with a rock-solid steadiness that seemed utterly indifferent to their surroundings.

They offered no battle cries, no exchanges, only the cold glimmer behind their Helmet Visors sweeping across alien corridors where viscous fluorescent liquid flowed.

The enemy was already surging toward them: Rangdan guards converging from every direction at the sound of the impacts, along with even more Mortals slaves whose vacant eyes and stiff movements clearly betrayed their enslavement.

They shrieked, brandishing crude weapons or extending mutated limbs.

The Death Guard's response was simple, efficient, and cold.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!..."

The warriors deployed along the flanks and at the front raised their modified heavy Autocannons or twin-linked Heavy Bolters.

Muzzles spewed flames several metres long, and dense streams of ammunition poured mercilessly into the approaching enemies like a metal storm.

The .75-calibre Bolts wrought terrifying destruction in the confined space. Rangdan Xenos or slave soldiers struck directly were instantly ripped apart by tremendous kinetic force, becoming filthy clouds of blood mist
