Before setting out to welcome the lord of the Eleventh Legion, Lorgar adjusted his course.

He decided to first visit the neighboring Olympia System. His brother Perturabo, lord of the Iron Warriors Legion, was currently stationed on his Legion's homeworld.

The latest orders from Terra had arrived. Once Perturabo completed another round of recruitment and refitting on Olympia, the Iron Warriors would return to the front lines of the Great Crusade and undertake a new series of even more demanding siege campaigns.

When the Word Bearers' magnificent flagship, the Law of Faith, its armour engraved with sacred scripture, quietly appeared in synchronous Orbit above Olympia alongside its escorts, the orbital defence arrays' sensors watched in silence for a moment.

Identification codes were rapidly verified within the data streams, and cold logic circuits reached the conclusion: "authorized."

The alert was lifted. Navigation beacons signaling friendship and permission to enter blinked steadily in the void, replacing the targeting lasers that might otherwise have been trained on them.

Across the Imperium's vast star charts and the tangled web of relationships between the Primarchs, there was probably no brother other than Lorgar with the ability, patience, and willingness to actively understand and tolerate Perturabo's brooding, suspicious, easily offended temperament.
