Lorgar felt a familiar helplessness in the face of wildly disjointed thinking.
Seeing the conversation race toward a dangerous direction that would absolutely set off the Emperor and half the Imperium's leadership, he hastily raised a hand, trying to rein the runaway discussion back onto a relatively manageable Orbit.
"Let's not get excited just yet, my brother." Lorgar tried to keep his voice gentle and rational, with the patience of an older brother guiding a younger one.
"Many things, especially major matters involving Legion organization and technological integration, require more thorough consideration, as well as... approval from a higher authority. After all, a Legion is not anyone's personal property. It belongs to the Imperium, to the Emperor."
He paused, his gaze sweeping across the sleek silver buildings operating quietly around them, then the soft yet impenetrable inner surface of the "Firmament" on the distant horizon, and offered a more immediate, safer suggestion:
"You see, I still know very little about the world where you grew up, or everything Lady Silverheart created for you. Why don't you... show me around first? Let me learn about Novalors, and learn more about you as well, Turing."
A look of delight appeared on the flesh-and-blood half of Turing's face, and the light of his red prosthetic eye settled into a gentle glow. He was clearly very willing to share everything he knew so well.
"With pleasure, Lorgar. Please follow me." Turing turned aside and gestured for him to follow, his manner elegant and imbued with a precisely calculated courtesy.
Just as Lorgar and Turing began moving, Anastasia, who remained where she was, exchanged a brief, silent "look" with Silverheart.
