Boom!!!
Two mountains fell.
Locked together, wrestling with the purest murderous intent and defiance, Horus and Urlakk—one white, one green—plunged from the towering Fortress's edge as though dragged down by an invisible hand.
The Gale Force of their rapid descent howled in their ears, mingling with Urlakk's furious roars and Horus's stifled grunts.
Shattered armour fragments, falling rocks, and even dust swept up by the airflow streamed behind them in a chaotic trail.
In free fall, time seemed to stretch, yet also pass in an instant.
Crash!!!
A thudding impact that made the entire battlefield shudder came from somewhere beneath the Fortress, briefly drowning out even the fierce gunfire.
A mushroom cloud of dust and rubble erupted from a broad platform strewn with broken stone.
It was a lookout platform halfway up the Fortress that had not yet fully collapsed, now serving as a temporary arena for the two sworn enemies.
The dust slowly settled, revealing the brutal scene within.
Radiating from two impact points, the platform's hard stone floor had fractured into two enormous craters, their edges webbed with cracks.
At their centres, Horus and Urlakk were separated by a dozen or so metres, each barely steadying himself after tumbling across the ground.
Horus knelt on one knee, supporting himself with his sword planted against the ground.
His Pearl White Power Armor, a symbol of glory and strength, was now almost beyond repair.
His breastplate was deeply caved in and torn open, exposing the sparking adamantium lining and damaged Fiber Bundles beneath. His pauldrons were almost completely shattered, leaving only broken connectors hanging from his shoulders; his leg armour was covered in deep gouges and dents, and a terrible crack split his left greave.
Worst of all, several sharp-edged fragments of his own armour, torn loose by the fall,
