The White Scars flagship, the Blade Storm.
The bridge's design was entirely different from those of the other Legions.
The space was more open, the lighting brighter. The walls were decorated with battle maxims written in Gothic and classical High Gothic, along with murals depicting steppe riders galloping through the wind.
The ventilation system supplied a constant stream of fresh air that circulated throughout the bridge, making it feel like an open grassland rather than the interior of an enclosed warship.
The bridge floor was laid with pale metal panels that reflected the soft glow of the overhead lights, making the whole space seem bright and spacious.
The Khan stood before the enormous observation window at the front of the bridge, his hands clasped behind his back. His gaze passed through the transparent crystal barrier toward the black void beyond, scattered with stars.
He stood tall and at ease, like a blade resting in its sheath, its edge concealed yet ready to be drawn at any moment.
He wore white Power Armour trimmed in gold. Its plates bore no unnecessary ornamentation, only the insignia of the White Scars branded on the left pauldron.
His black hair stirred slightly in the breeze from the ventilation outlets. His gaze was deep and keen, as though fixed on some distant target only he could see.
Ding Xiu and Pei Min stood a few paces behind the Khan.
Ding Xiu stood on the left, wearing the White Scars' signature white Power Armour. Several marks commemorating his battle honours were etched into its plates, and a long, slender war blade hung at his waist.
Pei Min stood on the right, wearing the dark grey Power Armour of the Word Bearers. Cross-shaped marks were branded on its plates, forming a stark contrast with the white livery
