"My lord, I meant no disrespect. This is standard procedure, and a necessary one." Worman explained carefully, afraid Iax might reject her proposal over this. The information revealed in his words contained something that excited her.

Although displeased that the quality of his creations had been questioned, Iax did not dwell on the issue. She was not one of the Men of Iron, so he could not simply submit the production inspection data directly to her.

Quality checks conducted during manufacturing eliminated any possibility of defective products.

If the production line had not been so inferior, the Quantum Printing of a Standard Production Line would not have produced even an atomic-level error.

The two arrived at the hangar, where dozens of Tech-Priests were staring at the mechanical units Iax had left behind, which stared right back. Both sides maintained a commendable degree of restraint.

That was, of course, if one ignored the overlapping discussions in Binary Holy Writ.

The others had been unable to endure the piercing noise, leaving only the Tech-Priests here.

Watching the Priests stare fixedly at those mechanical units as though they had discovered priceless treasures, the others could not see what distinguished them from the Adeptus Mechanicus's Automated Battle Servitors.

As Castellan lifted two enormous metal crates out of the transport's cargo hold, the remaining three Servitors stepped forward and opened the side panels.

Beam rifles and batteries were stacked together in alternating rows. The uniform arrangement soothed those with obsessive-compulsive tendencies and drove those with trypophobia mad.

The mechanical units moved away from the crates and stood to one side.

The damaged Servitor, meanwhile, successfully drew the Tech-Priests' attention.

On the intact Servitors, armor and protective plates concealed many of the details.

The Servitor Iax controlled directly, however, exposed more of its unique structural designs.
