The blood and heaps of skulls strewn everywhere, along with the blue warp energy, plainly revealed the culprit behind this operation.

In the warp, Tzeentch sensed his talisman shatter, while Khorne looked on mockingly.

"It seems the foolish schemer's plan failed this time."

Tzeentch looked through the warp into the cold void, where the vast mechanical fleet of the Men of Iron hung beyond the Solar System. The conflict he had planned seemed not to have begun. The decaying Imperium and that searing golden light were painfully glaring.

With disdain, he turned into a streak of blue light and vanished before Khorne.

Guilliman had no idea that the possibility of Iax turning against the Imperium had long been accounted for by the Warp Daemons.

And once again, the Emperor had personally intervened to make fools of the Daemons.

An act of blasphemy had occurred on Terra. The news immediately drew the Inquisition's attention.

Groups of Inquisitors belonging to the Ordo Hereticus arrived one after another, bringing their retinues.

A bloody inquisition then began on Terra.

The Inquisitors scoured all of Terra in a frenzy, conducting a meticulous screening of every Imperial institution that spread outward from Segmentum Solar into the surrounding regions.

Across the Milky Way, thousands of Planetary Governors and millions of people from various institutions were executed with white phosphorus.

However, Guilliman's proposed ban on those enveloping hooded robes ultimately failed to take effect.

The Ecclesiarchy and numerous Hidden Conclaves all protested, eventually forcing Guilliman to abandon the idea.

Iax successfully found information about the Aeldari Craftworld Alaitoc in those bloodstained records, although some of the figures and details looked rather strange.

With the arrival of the Men of Iron's transport aircraft and a Thunderhawk, Iax and Guilliman left Terra in succession.

With so many High Lords
