The leader of the Mirthful Scream Troupe aboard the Spear of Titans told Iax that the Emperor had sealed off virtually all the Webway passages within the Solar System. They lacked the power to break seals placed by the Emperor himself. The best way to open the Webway was to construct a new Webway gate.
Although their ships carried some Spirit Bone material, there was only enough to construct a small gate that would allow one person through at a time.
Iax was somewhat helpless in the face of this situation.
After all, he needed to open the Webway, not destroy it. But a gate that admitted only one person at a time was far too small and would hamper the search.
The Theatrical Troupe, however, said that the tens of thousands of Aeldari psykers aboard the Spear of Titans could help cultivate more Spirit Bone. With enough material, they could construct a Webway Gate of sufficient size.
