A towering, rune-covered door suddenly appeared in their field of view.
The enormous door stood ten meters tall, its surface carved with numerous intricate decorative images.
An Imperial Aquila adorned its center, while countless strange Runes were engraved around its edges.
Yet countless mechanical units had passed this spot before, and there had been nothing here but a blank stretch of Webway wall.
Iax quickly guided his body to the enormous door, the key in his hand releasing a gentle golden glow.
An array of Runes with a peculiar mechanical quality stirred faintly upon the immense door.

A space of fairly modest dimensions appeared before Iax. Various oddly shaped instruments crowded the room, and a massive workbench stood in a corner amid overlapping machinery.
Iax walked around the equipment, whose functions were unknown, and approached the workbench. He carefully calculated the dimensions of the Emperor's skeletal remains recorded in his core.
After roughly modeling the dimensions of the Emperor's flesh-and-blood body, he could readily confirm that this might well have been the Emperor's desk here.
Various handwritten documents and hand-drawn rune diagrams lay scattered across the workbench.
These were some of the Emperor's discoveries and structural designs from his construction of the Artificial Webway.
The Webway system itself had not been created by the Emperor.
