Although the Men of Iron possessed no psychic power themselves, that did not stop Iax from scanning the equipment and extracting its technology. It contained many unusual technologies.
These included Psychic Weaving for constructing the Webway, Interspace Drilling, and more.
These were devices the Emperor had developed to construct the Artificial Webway. With the data stored inside them, Iax could construct a section of Webway at any time and forcibly connect it to the Old Ones' ancient Webway network.
Although Iax did not know how to construct a Psychic Barrier to guard against Daemon incursions, that was hardly a major concern for machine bodies.
As for opening and closing the entrance, that was not actually difficult for Iax.
Iax could not replicate the Emperor's psychic controls and switches, but could replicate those of the Aeldari.
Combining the Aeldari's Webway Gate Opening Technology, the Emperor's Artificial Webway weaving, and the blunt simplicity of closing the gate with bombs produced a rather perfect set of techniques for using the Webway.
As for getting lost inside the Webway, that simply did not happen to the Men of Iron.
With enough of them, they would never get lost.
Once everything from the Emperor's laboratory in the Webway had been delivered back to Terra, Iax's fleet began making new moves.
Under the leadership of individual Command Flagships, all the cruisers began forming separate fleets.
Swarms of transport ships arrived at Terra and began collecting troops from the Spear of Titans.
Nearly ten billion mechanical troops inside Terra's Webway needed to be transported.
Even the Spear of Titans could not hold so many mechanical troops.
The Leviathan Mining World in Segmentum Pacificus had already been completely exhausted.
The fleet stationed there began heading toward the Ultima Segmentum.
The T'au Homeworld was the next mineral planet available
